The girl called the police and said her father was under the floorboards: when the police started removing the floorboards, they saw something terrible 😱😱

The local police officer on duty received a strange, frightening phone call.

“Hello…,” the girl, about eight years old, sobbed weakly. “Please help… my father is under the floor…”

The officer on duty frowned and exchanged a look with his colleague.

Under the floor? Girl, can you get Mom or Dad on the phone?

Dad hasn’t been home for days. And Mom doesn’t believe me, she says I’m making it up. But I know he’s under the floor. He told me himself.

Wait… — the man took a more serious tone. —And how did he tell you if he’s not home?

I saw him in a dream, — the girl whispered. — He said he was far away… and under the floor…

The officers, who laughed at first, thought the child had mental health problems and were about to hand the case over to social services. But something in the girl’s voice—her desperate sincerity—wouldn’t let them ignore the call.
Let’s double-check, just to be sure, — said one of the officers. —Otherwise, if it turns out to be true…

When they arrived at the address, they were met by the girl’s mother—a well-groomed, somewhat nervous woman in her forties. She was surprised by the visit but invited everyone in. The girl stood next to them, clutching a teddy bear, and silently pointed to a spot near the living room wall. Right under the fresh laminate flooring.

The police decided to dig in the spot the girl had pointed to, and what they found shocked everyone 😱😱 Continued from the first comment 👇👇

“Where is your husband?” the police asked first.

“On a business trip,” the woman replied quickly. “In another city… I think in… in Serbia. Or Slovenia. I don’t remember exactly. He travels often.

“Can you call him?”

“The phone’s dead,” she hesitated. “Probably…”

While one of the officers tried in vain to call the woman’s husband, the second questioned the neighbors. No one had seen the man for over a week.

He didn’t go to work and didn’t contact anyone. No airline had registered flights in his name.

When the police said they were going to tear up part of the floor, the girl’s mother started to get nervous.

“We just finished the repairs! Can you imagine how much it cost? Who’s paying for the damage?!

“If we don’t find anything, the insurance will cover everything,” the senior officer replied dryly.

They began removing the planks in the spot the girl had pointed out.

A few minutes later, a scream rang out. One of the officers suddenly jumped back and dropped the crowbar. In the silence, like a bolt from the blue, they said:

“We found… a body.”

A man’s body was pulled from under the floor. Wrapped in construction sheeting, partially covered with the remains of construction foam and concrete. There were virtually no signs of a struggle. Apparently, he had died from a single, hard blow to the temple.

Later, an investigation confirmed everything. During an argument, the woman, enraged, hit her husband with a heavy object. Realizing he was dead, she decided to conceal the crime, taking advantage of the fact that the house was being renovated.

The workers thought she was simply asking for “the floor to be filled a little deeper.” No one suspected anything was amiss.

And the Girl… The girl actually saw her father in her dream. He came to her, smiled sadly, and said:

“Tell them. I’m under the floor. I’m close. Don’t be afraid.”

And she said.
